Since 1987, VJ Electronix has utilized its technical expertise and visionary product development team to manufacture state-of-the-art x-ray inspection systems. After years of innovative solutions for the electronics industry, VJ Electronix announced the acquisition of Teradyne's manual x-ray inspection (MXI) systems and the SRT rework systems business in 2003. MXI and SRT are part of the former NIS business. Today, the x-ray division offers manual and semi automated x-ray inspection systems and the Rework division manufactures semi automated and automated rework stations suited for uBGA, CSP and Flip-Chip component technologies.

Their solutions serve the test, validation, verification, and quality control needs for the computer, telecom, medical, automotive, aerospace, and commercial electronics manufacturers of the world. Closing the loop on the manufacturing process, our rework systems lead the industry with innovative software, a simple user interface, and unmatched throughput and process control.

In addition to providing x-ray systems and rework solutions, VJ Electronix also provides in-house inspection. Their modern laboratories are built with 225kV, 320kV, and two 450kV x-ray sources and 1 lb to 2500 lb manipulators. Imaging components such as Linear Diode Array, Amorphous Silicon Digital Panel and Image Intensifiers are used. All of these components are modular features that allow VJE to meet individual client specifications.
